Do(es) Network Marketing (pyramid schemes) work? Can you make money if you get in early enough?

I received an email and watched the videos for something called 124. The gist of it is the basic you recruit someone who recruits someone else and y’all sell some product. I know people make living off of Mary-Kay type ventures. The appeal here is that if you et in in the next day, you can recruit unlimited number of people. After that there is a wait list so your growth would be limited. So my skepticism tells me these things don’t work. do they?

Pyramid schemes NEVER work. When your income is solely based upon recruiting others (I’ve looked at those websites and just hated the whole process), it’s more of a scam than anything else. Especially this particular one; a true career would NEVER limit your income potential and ways to grow your business. This just sounds ridiculous and a waste of time and money.

However, please be cautious when grouping other legitimate businesses into this category. Mary Kay is NOT an MLM or pyramid scheme, because it focuses on your actual career and works just like a regular job. You do not have to “recruit”, and you only sell products when people who received a facial love it enough to want to take it home. This is the sort of work-from-home career that helps instead of hurts your wallet. There are other legitimate careers in direct sales that are not MLM or pyramid schemes either, and I encourage you to do more research so you do not fall into the trap of paying for a quick way out.

Would you recommend an anti-virus/spyware application for use with an android phone?

It occurred to me as to how secure is it accessing things like email via my mobile phone seeing how it then stores sensitive passwords and such..?

I would go with something like http://www.kaspersky.com/kaspersky_mobile_security its not free,but is one that is reliable although I really don’t think an anti virus is necessary for a phone.
